Role in Space-Based PNT

Operates the Global Differential GPS System (GDGPS).
- Operates the Central Bureau and numerous reference stations of the International GNSS Service.
- Sponsors the National Space-Based PNT Advisory Board on behalf of the Executive Committee.
- Develops new technology for spaceborne uses of GPS, such as The Navigator receiver.
- Maintains the GPS Applications Exchange, an online database of global GPS uses.
- Applies space-based PNT to a broad variety of governmental activities, including spacecraft navigation.
